Shane Franklin - Founder & Lead Trainer


Shane graduated from Brunel University West London with a Bsc 2.1 Honors in Politics and Sociology. He started his career with a leading US based video conferencing company where he observed thousands of international qualitative market research studies for a number of Fortune 500 companies.

After five years working with some of the industries leading corporations, Shane decided to pursue a role as an international qualitative researcher.

Over the next few years, he worked for leading global market research companies and facilitated thousands of qualitative focus groups for leading organisations including: British Airways, Microsoft MSN, Sony Ericsson, P&G, Unilever, TFL, NSPCC, NHS, BBC and The Home Office.

This role saw Shane work in New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Istanbul, Milan, Rome, Rio de Janeiro and San Francisco. To brief facilitators and observe qualitative market research studies.

However, Shane was always very passionate about people development and training emerging talent. In 2009 Shane decided to pursue his life long dream of helping young people into the world of work. He secured a post at a leading youth charity in London helping NEET young people into paid employment. Over the next two years, Shane recruited, mentored, developed and trained 130 young people into sustainable paid employment opportunities throughout London.

It was at this time that Shane began to emerge himself into Yoga & Martial Arts training and the seeds for 時間 SeeGarn began.

In 2013 Shane decided to follow his heart and take the leap into self employment as a trainer in the youth sector. To date, in collaboration with leading social enterprises, Shane has delivered employability, leadership, child safeguarding, finance and enterprise focussed training programmes internationally and throughout the UK to over 7,000 young people and 800 adults in over 150+ schools, colleges and Local Children’s Safeguarding Boards.

At the end of 2015, Shane realised it was time to connect his own dots and consolidate his experience to help others.

In 2016, 時間 SeeGarn, Training Employability & Development… was born.
