Training Focus

  • This course aims to equip multi agency practitioners with the knowledge, skills and techniques to safeguard young women affected by violence, crime, sexual exploitation and gangs

Learning outcomes

  • Understand the complex evolving nature of young women affected by violence, crime, sexual exploitation and gangs

  • Develop an in depth knowledge on the hierarchy of young women involved in gangs, be able to identify them at an early stage and be more confident to safeguard young women most at risk

  • Reflect on the complex challenges faced by a young woman who exited this lifestyle

  • Explore the issues surrounding young women and the impact of social media

  • Be more confident to safeguard, provide holistic interventions and sustainable exit strategies to support a young woman affected by these issues

  • Increase confidence, knowledge and a best practice approach when working with young women affected by these issues from other multi-agency partners in the borough

Target Audience & Format

  • This training course is offered as a half and full day option

  • All courses place a strong emphasis on multi agency working. Where appropriate a young person with in depth knowledge on this issue will co-facilitate this training course alongside an experienced 時間 SeeGarn trainer
